I actually thought about it while shooting this time, so there are more photos than my last study. End of post I’ll share a few of my favorite film shots that I didn’t get an iPhone sister to. Some of these, the film is obviously better. There are a few where I find it negligible, and even fewer where dare I say the iPhone nailed it (Kind of just the sunrise one for me, but I’ll let you be the judge.)

Film shot around various coastal towns in Oaxaca, Mexico December 2024. Most of it is Kodak 200 GOLD. I got 3 rolls processed in Walnut Creek, CA and loved the results. There was a rogue 4th roll I forgot to drop off and took to a lab in New York and tbh I found it to be milky and grainy in a way that the other rolls seem to suggest was a fluke of the lab and not me. I did not label that here but… anyway.

For study purposes, nothing has been edited. Some of the iPhone shots I zoomed in to create a closer study, some I left in that wide flat length it seems to be most comfortable at.
